Medical Cannabis podcast interview
I tend to lean towards legalisation in the drugs debate, I reckon prohibition hasn’t done the best by the human race. But as an aspiring radio presenter I also tend towards keeping my mouth shut. I present a music show, after all, and talk of drugs, medical or otherwise, has no place.
Recently though a local businessman offered me the chance to interview two people suffering debilitating illnesses. Both use cannabis medically and here they make a compelling case for medical cannabis. They also talk of the side effects of ‘legal’ medicine and a war against the drug that helps them live a more normal life. There was no way I was going to turn this interview down.
This 40 minute podcast focuses on Medicinal Cannabis Users in the UK. Christopher Mockridge and Christopher Bovey talk to two medicinal cannabis consumers, Stuart Wyatt and Clark French. They discuss usage of cannabis, how it helps them, and any problems that they have had whilst using Cannabis to manage their illness (including difficulties with the law). Contains strong language.
