Our Producer burnt his fingers on (usually) cold plastic sliders.
Our cameraman discovered a shattered lens as soon as he had uttered the words ‘I’ll just check the light’. Illsa, it seems is a powerful being. It was our privilege to host The Balled of Illsa Frankenstein and one that left us in Shock and Awe! A fabulous piece of radio theatre.
Smoke snaked from the scorched carpet and Illsa was gone. So we didn’t get to thank her – wherever you are Illsa, thank you.
Thanks also to Chris Booth and Studio Dave on sound and Steve Offord on camera, who despite his best efforts could not capture the likeness of Illsa Frankenstein.
