Totnes Monster

The instrument Amie is playing is a Sarangi, roughly meaning many colours, and Chris on guitar and piano. Semi improvised raga. Apparently most Raga is semi improvised, Chris informs me that most music, until recently, was partially improvised. Until, that is, folks wanted to own the printed sheet music as intellectual property and have the exclusive rights to sell it. So that meant all the notes were written and played fairly uniformly every time. So that makes the original copywriters the thin end of the iTunes wedge then!
